Has anyone on here got any experience of re-selling events tickets through one of the online market places?
Back at the end of October I bought 4 tickets for the new Harry Potter play that comes out in London next year. Two for me & the wife and two for my parents to give as a Christmas present. As we're now expecting our first child in May, I'm not sure if we'll realistically be able to go on a jolly to London in July... it'll be a long day and baby will be just under 2 months.
No worries I thought, my parents will be happy to go on their own and as they're good tickets, I'll be able to re-sell our two.
So I've just looked online and comparable tickets for the same day are going for BIG money...
Viagogo £1,800.00 per ticket
StubHub £2,500.00 per ticket
Is this for real? Do people really spend this much? Where's the catch??
That kinda money would go a long way with our baby on the way but it all just seems too good to be true.
I've never re-sold tickets before and I wondered if anyone else on here has?
