For Sale 1972 Bay camper with full interior conversion, £13000

For sale, restored 1972 Bay window in Savannah beige and cloud white.

Price is £13k ovno, located in Cannock, Staffordshire.

I have bought a split screen so have to sell my bay to fund it.

Iv had a lot of welding work done since I owned it including:

All sills, outriggers and jacking points replaced.
Top hat sections replaced.
Complete cargo floor replaced.
Front and rear arches replaced.
Rear corners and battery trays replaced.
Full front panel.
Inner upper front panel and inner valance.
Inner and outer rear valance.
Cab floor repairs.

It has also had a lowered front beam fitted with adjusters. New ball joints when fitted.
Rear lowered one spline.
New calipers, master cylinder, hoses etc.
Stock wheels with new load rated standard profile tyres.
New window rubbers etc, Westy side window.

The engine is a genuine vw Mexico replacement 1600 long block that had done around 5000 miles. Its fitted with twin weber 34ICT carbs and a new exhaust.

I had the stock seats Retrimmed and full replacement door cards to match at the same time as fitting a new complete camping interior. This includes a Volkswares 3/4 width rock and roll metal frame bed.
Zig split charge unit, 240 volt hook up and leisure battery.
New interior units with Smev single burner and sink. Fully functioning water pump etc.








It is not a show winner and could do with a few bits tidying up, but it's a very nice, solid usable van.
