We want to put up a new shed in the garden. We would like it to be able to house 3 x cars if needed (for when we get the garage rebuilt). It would likely be 24ft by 15ft, so over the 30m2 permitted development.
Google is not being very helpful, and all the info I can find seems to relate to stuff under 15m2 or between 15 and 30m2, but no info (that I can decifer anyway) on what happens if you want to put something up over 30m2.
I guess we would have to get planning for it? The garden is large, so I don't think it should be a problem, but what about building control? Is it a case of them coming over to make sure that if the shed sets on fire that it won't set the neighbouring houses on fire too? If so, that shouldn't be a problem either as none are close to it.
