Hi,
I've just treated myself to a heated front screen so no longer need the front demist pipes under the bonnet, luckily as they weren't attached when I brought the beetle...
I'm now looking for ideas to block off the front of the heater channels under the bonnet. I went out the measure them to see if I could buy something to cap them but because of the position couldn't get anywhere near. I still want to keep my heating inside the vehicle but don't want to waste the heating having it exit under the bonnet.
Has anyone successfully capped the front off?? Is there an easy way of doing this?? Am I over thinking the problem (would be very happy for someone to tell me that)??
Any input would be great. My beetle is a 1972 1200 if this helps.
