So I'm a bit of a addict for cheap cars on ebay and buying them without viewing!
Just got another 03 after selling my first one about 28 years. Ago! ,
bid on it in my lunchbreak at work and won it that evening
Got it home and it's not to bad intact I'm rather pleased as it's always a gamble on any car let alone a scene tax beetle!
So here's my theory and reason I bid/bought it...Metallic blue bugs don't seem to rust as bad as solid colours! ,I know it sounds daft but past experiences and cars /panels seem to show this:crazy:
I don't know if there is more prep involved or way shell is prepared but it's just a thought.
Will put some pics up its not pretty but definitely not a basket case.
