I'm supplying a link to the adverts of two cars my friend is selling.
I'll copy and paste as much as I can then stick the links to the Ebay listings on.
Thank you.

Pontiac.

This is probably the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. The lines, the curves, the chrome..........

Stunning '51 Chief. This is the very rare Silver Anniversary model. Fastback, 2 door. Beautiful.
Fitted with the bulletproof Silver Streak straight eight engine displacing 268 cu in, 116 BHP and 220 lb/ft. It runs perfectly and idles as smooth as silk.
Pulls really well in all three gears and shifts like a new car. Honestly!

The car is totally solid. The only rust EVER was replaced by the previous owner. Two small floor pan replacements. Everything works except the radio and the clock but hey, it's 65..... Even the vacuum wipers work perfectly.

It was part of a private collection for 40 years until I bought it last October and imported it from the US. He was very upset to see it go. It lived inside always and was from North Carolina, a dry state.

When it was delivered I fitted some UK headlights with 6V halogen bulbs and it went straight through the MOT! Just incredible. My Audi is shit by comparison.

Talking of MOT, there is no requirement for an MOT for a car of this age but it provides peace of mind. All the chrome is good as is all the trim. The interior has been sympathetically and professionally reupholstered. It's nothing short of beautiful. It comes with both sets of keys and the original workshop manual. Like the old Haynes used to be where you could carry out a full nut and bolt, engineer level rebuild. Everything bar the interior and an expensive new Red Top 6V battery is original. Underneath, the exhaust is new and lots of the brake hardware. It was wax oiled but needs to be redone. I haven't done it as you need to appreciate how original and solid it is. However, I'd recommend getting it redone at some point.

This is a rare car and such a good example. It wants for nothing except an owner who will cherish it. It's FAR too good to sit on a driveway in the salty Cornish air.
There is a moral responsibility to preserve this car.

The original ad:
This 1951 Pontiac 2 Door Streamliner De Luxe Sedan Coupe is powered by the bullet proof Pontiac Straight Eight. Rebuilt 3 Speed Transmission and 2 Barrel Carburetor. New interior, engine overhaul, body repainted with original Saturn Gold, and two new floor boards (which was the only metal repair/rust on the whole car), new exhaust and new wiring. Great driver. Has been in my family since the early 70's. I have the original owner's manual, after market maintenance manual, brochure, and some maintenance and title records back to the 70's.

“Drives great, no mechanical issues. Body is straight, no rust. Has been repainted and new interior. (Saturn Gold w a small bit of gold speck) Chrome is good condition and complete. All lights work. There is a sloooow drip from the oil pan. In the course of a week, maybe a drop.”

I understand Cornwall is a haul for some people but if you choose to view this car and find it not as described, I'll refund your travel costs.

Ford

Fantastic 1967 Galaxie Coupe! American Muscle at it's best.

New interior, perfect headlining. Quality 'Eagle Racing' alloys with new Dunlop tyres. All chrome and trim is solid and clean.

Fitted with a late 90's, fuel injected, Lincoln (Ford) Town Car engine. This is a 32 valve, 4.6L, 300hp, 300b/ft EFI engine. It's a very professional conversion offering unparalleled reliability and vastly increased economy. The car flies and sounds like the devil...
Double lambda sensors on the 4 into 2 pipes. Twin exit exhaust with short silencers. Sounds f@%king badass when you put your foot down but can be tickled along with a nice bass burble too.

I imported late last year and MOT'd just before Christmas. The NYC plate is interesting as it originates from just outside New York.

It failed first MOT on two flexi brake hoses plus it had an advisory on the other hose and corrosion of the cross axle brake pipe. All of the flexi hoses and the brake pipe were replaced with new OE equipment. I also put in a new handbrake cable while I was at it and a new quality battery. Headlights are UK spec of course and I installed halogen bulbs. The original headlights are available for European buyers.

While I'm on the note of using. The mileage is certainly going to increase! I'd rather drive this than ANYTHING else..... Tax exempt and £60 fully comp, I couldn't care less about the economy!

Overall the car is really solid. It has been resprayed in the past and the only rust anywhere on the car is a little in the boot floor. Not a concern for safety or MOT implications but worth mentioning. It's a Galaxie 'thing' and you can only see it while it's on a ramp. Some of the instrumentation doesn't work with the new engine and surprise: the radio is not currently working. Who cares with it's soundtrack?

I understand Cornwall is a long haul for a lot of people so please feel free to ask any questions and request photographs etc. I'm happy to entertain genuine enquiries.
Should you decide to view and find this car not as described I will cover your travel costs. Fair?
