This teardrop has the edge over most others for sale on Ebay, Gumtree etc. Rather than the usual home-made wooden/ aluminium construction, this caravan is professionally built, using a fibreglass shell on a galvanised steel chassis. The result is an ultra-lightweight (145kg) caravan that can be towed by the smallest of cars, or trike or even a motorbike. Fibreglass teardrops keep you warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer and are leak-free (unlike many of the other types !)
Finished in black gel coat, this teardrop comes with many extras:
1) An attachable awning (for cooking in, storage, or just sitting out etc).
2) Camping stove and stand, plus 2 gas bottles
3) Spare wheel and rack
4) Double mattress & fully lined, curtains
5) Solar panel battery powered interior light, a large.
All in all, about £4000 worth and like new inside and out.

These “Sleeper” model caravans were professionally built by a specialist company in Leicestershire and are based on the American “Falcon” teardrop trailer. These teardrops are now hard to come by and do not come up for sale very often. This fine example is in mint condition and has barely been used.
