Ok so its not common on anything but aircooled engines to change rings it seems, I am rebuilding a 2litre 2e engine which has a tiny bit of rust in the bore due to sitting (moisture in the air) and I thought I'll give it a quick hone, but I wondered where to get new rings from?
I mean hopefully the rings are ok, but if I break one putting the pistons back in, where can you get the rings from?
GSF dont seem to sell them, Eurocar parts dont seem to sell standard 8v rings, not exactly sure who else to use?
