73 Beetle Unfinished Project
The bug has no Tax or Mot and is an unfinished project which needs some work to get on the road again, although most of the hard work has been done. It is over 40 years old so can be applied for tax exemption.
Work Done
It has had a whole new O/S floor pan and the N/S has been repaired.
The heater channels have been repaired at some time and are solid.
Both the door pillars have been replaced or repaired
Front lower inner wings have been repaired.
Rear inner wings have had some patches done.
Other general welding around the car has been done.
Front Beam has been painted is in good condition
New Parts
The bug comes with the following new parts
Rear light clusters and lenses
4x Wing Beading
Exhaust Tips
Headlight Rings
4x Wings (they have some surface rust)
What's Left to do
The car needs the following work to complete it
A new Rear Valance welded in
A couple more patches of welding around the rear and some tidying up.
the bug does not come with the empi sprintstars
Engine is a 1300 twin port which is currently out of the car as is the interior.
I have a complete ragtop which could be installed in this and I can include this at and extra cost.
Price is £500 for a solid base for a project.
