A pending wedding (my own) means I’m trying to slim down the fleet and raise some funds. Much to my disappointment!

Summary:
Year: 2003
Model: MkIV R32
Engine; 3200cc V6 (VR6)
Gearbox: 6 Speed Manual
Colour: Diamond Black Pearl
Doors: 5
Milage: 81k
Service History: Full
MOT: November 2016
Previous Owners: 6
Features:
Optional Electric Sunroof, Xenon headlights, Climate Control (air con), Headlight Washers, Half-Leather Konig seats (heated fronts), 6 CD changer, heated wing mirrors, original Genuine r32 floor mats, leather R32 steering wheel and all the other R32 spec stuff (pedals, cluster etc)
Modifications:
Very few… The exhaust flapper mod on the OEM exhaust (which is very easily reversed), and a very slight (factory look) professionally applied tint on the rear windows is all. This is essentially a factory spec MkIV R32.
Description:
Finished in Diamond Black Pearl, the exterior of the car is in fantastic condition and looks incredible in the sunlight. The paintwork has been very well cared for, with a regular full cleanse, detail and sealing to ensure it’s in tip-top shape. The car is currently at the bodyshop where some very minor signs of corrosion on the tailgate are being addressed (I wanted to make sure they were seen to before it became an issue, and VW refused to do it under warranty) and the front bumper is being painted to address a small area of lacquer peel. The pictures should speak for themselves but please remember that this is a 13 year old car that is used. An eagle-eye will inevitably find a couple of stone chips here and there.
All 4 wheels are very clean, with no curb marks or damage. They are each wrapped in Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 tyres – The fronts were replaced just a thousand miles ago (September 2015), and the rears have done around 11,000 miles. A full 4-wheel laser alignment was done on the car recently to ensure the tracking was perfect and tyre wear was minimal (I have the report).
The interior of the car is also in incredible shape. The half-leather seats are unmarked, with no sagging or bolster wear. The heated front seats work perfectly and the air-conditioning blows ice cold air even on the hottest of days. The leather R32 steering wheel is undamaged, with no signs of considerable wear.
The original R32 floor mats are in great condition, with some minor heel wear on the drivers side, but the fact that they are still there says a lot. In fact, I usually remove them and have a plain black set in for every day use to avoid damaging / dirtying them! Both sets of mats will be included.
The boot holds the original tool kit, and emergency puncture repair kit. The car has no spare wheel, which is as was supplied by the factory.
Note that the photographs show the car with an alternative head unit, which has now been replaced with the original radio / cd changer combo. The car is also photographed with a private plate – this is not included in the sale and the car will be back on the original age related plate. I'm just waiting for the updated V5C to come through from the DVLA (I have the current one, obviously).
Service History:
The car has been serviced meticulously, in line with VW specifications (if not more). This includes regular Haldex servicing and a change of both front and rear transmission fluids using all Genuine VW parts. Here’s a breakdown of the work recorded:
12/07/05 - 15,042 miles @ Beadles VW Dartford
17/09/07 - 24,270 miles @ Heathrow VW Ashford (Brake fluid changed)
21/01/09 - 31,506 miles @ Peter Cooper VW Portsmouth
21/09/10 - 39,717 miles @ Loders VW Yeovil
23/10/10 - 40,225 miles @ John Mccornick VW/ Audi Specialist (Haldex oil / filter changed + Brake Fluid)
01/10/11 - 44,780 miles @ Loders VW Yeovil
19/02/13 - 51,964 miles @ T.R. Autos VW / Audi Specialist Yeovil (both rear springs replaced with genuine items)
26/02/14 - 60,974 miles @ IVC VW / Audi Specialist Leeds (Haldex oil / filter changed + Brake Fluid)
02/01/15 - 69,893 miles @ Millers Garage / Independent Specialist Newbury (Engine oil, filters, spark plugs, front trans oil and rear axle oil changed)
05/11/15 - 78,802 miles @ Millers Garage / Independent Specialist Newbury (Haldex oil / filter changed + Engine oil and filters)
As a result of the care and attention the car has had over the years, it drives beautifully. A really enjoyable car to be in. It’s tight, full of torque and sounds absolutely delicious. I hate the fact that I am selling it! I should note that the car was also recalled for the 6463 update to improve drivability through the rev range.
It comes with a huge file of receipts, service stamps old MOTs and other documentation, as well as both (2) keys and the original handbook.
I have the HPI report from when I bought it, which shows no areas of concerns, other than a potential milage discrepancy which is incorrect. I have the file of MOTs and Services to back up the milage, as well as a VCDS autoscan report. I presume the milage is highlighted in the report due to the low milage for the age.
