Engine Beetle Distributor Replacement - Best Repro / Quality ?

Hi all,

Wonder if I can ask a question about my Beetle's distributor which I'm looking to replace. Engine is a late 1972 1300 Twin Port and the distributor currently fitted has the number 0231 168 001 with "JFUD4". Can't seem to find much about this dizzy number but a search threw up a VZ reply to someone who had the same one by the great Moby who said "Bosch list as a 1600 from 12/72 - the spec is the same as 0231 170 034" This last number appears on Old Volks Home with the VW part number as being 043 905 205. Which type of repro dizzy would be a direct replacement for mine ? Mine is a vacuum advance one I believe - it has the saucer shaped piece on the side.

I have looked at all the usual VW specific parts websites and it would seem that all of the them now only offer the same basic repro dizzy with the number 043905205R although JK lists a different number - 113-905-205/AN although it appears to be the same item. As an example, here's one from C & C

Over on ebay, there's a few also listed that are made by Powerspark and Accuspark but I've not heard of those so unsure how they compare to what seems to be the same basic one sold by C and C and others etc

Bit confused as to the best to go for. Which would be the best buy ?
