For Sale 1972 Type 3 Fastback

I’ve decided to put my ‘72 fastback up for sale. Only selling as I want a bay. I bought the car in Dec 2014 in a good condition. It was owned by a friend in Kerbside and worked on at The Old Dub Shop. Since I have owned it it has gone through 2 MOT’s and all the work has been carried out by Evil Bens. It now has an MOT until April 2017 with one advisory, the horn switch does not return to the original position (because of the type of switch it is).

The car has a nice patina look. It is lowered 3 or 4 splines on the rear and is running air shocks up front with the air tank and compressor stored in the front bonnet. It is running polished steel wheels. The car is solid underneath, no welding is needed. The engine is a 1600 twin port with dual 32 webber carbs and runs very well. The interior is in good condition, nice headlining, carpet is in good nic. The only bad point is the seats have some tears in the, the passenger one in particular. I quite like this look, it adds to the character of the car, which is why I have left it.

The car has been dry stored since I bought it, the previous owner also said he dry stored it. I have plenty of history with the car. Going back to about 1990. Lots of original documents, receipts, mot etc.. I’ve done about 8-10k miles since I bought the car.
