Body door sag - new pins or replacement door

my 72 bug has a pretty heavy sag on the passenger door - the pillar is solid and when the door is lifted it will shut properly.

the car is currently sat in the lot at beetlelink and when I spoke to grant he said just replace the door.

would it be better to replace the whole door to save with messing around with replacing the pin or just fit an oversized pin?

any input would be greatly appreciated.
