VW T4 Forum crap

Perhaps the wrong forum but I feel I need to vent. I own a 1972 T2 and a 1970 T1, but also own a 2000 Newbie and a 2005 T5 so often frequent different forums.


Recently I found my passenger door on the T5 was not operating correctly so removed the inner door card but found it did not give access to what I wanted. Having looked on the VW T4 forum I discovered a thread entitled door handle removal where it was implied just undoing a torx bolt would give the ability to remove a section of the door handle and give access to where I wanted to be. However it transpired it was not enough information and another ember experienced the problems I did but got no answer to his question..

I have since learnt (to my detriment as I screwed up the cover on my handle in the process) that a small piece of advice is required so as to assist anyone else to perform a change of the handle and not damage their van but I can not post on the forum. I was hoping the matter of posting would sort itself,in a couple of,days but 4 days later and still I can not post.

I therefore ask if someone here is a moderator on the T4 forum if they would amend my settings so I can actually post on it.
