looking for some advice on a build

hi guys,

my names tom and im looking at building a road legal sandrail to drag race.

i have got:
a 1970 beetle chassis that i have converted to irs.
a 091 vanagon petrol gearbox( center shift)
a t25 diesel bell housing
a 1.8t engine from an a6

my plan is to use the spine as the base for the project so it is easier to get it road legal. the 1.8t is 150hp as standard but i will be looking to increase the turbo size to a k04 and also get it remapped for performance while still keeping drivability.

i will be constructing a tube frame body around the beetle spine, uva fugitive is what im aiming for really but i will have the spine and frame head still.

im looking for advice on how easily this would be to make road legal, what wheel and tyre combinations would be best for racing.

i am planning on upgrading to early 944 rear arms ans possibly drive shafts in the future however currently i will be using stock beetle drive shafts with bus cvs on the gear box ends.

many thanks,

tom.

(please ignore the lack of punctuation and capitalisation as im typing on a tablet currently)
